In the last interview Tiger Woods did before his sex scandal exploded, he noted the importance of family. The eight-minute interview, taped at the Australian Masters tournament in November, will run on New Zealand's Sky TV's Deaker on Sport on Tuesday night, reports Access Hollywood.
"It's been great, actually, it's been the best thing that ever happened," Tiger said of his family in a clip from the interview.
About his two kids with Elin Nordegren, he says, "They've got my wife's stubbornness, so that's enough."
"Family first, then golf second – always been like that?" Sky TV's Murray Deaker asked Tiger at the end of the clip. "Always," Tiger responds, looking somber.
And in other Tiger news:
- Playgirl will not publish nude photos of Tiger.
- Global management company Accenture has dropped Tiger as a pitchman.
- Saturday Night Live did more Tiger bits this weekend. The opener featured politicians John Edwards, Mark Sanford and John Ensign complaining that Tiger has taken the spotlight off of their adultery stories. A running gag was devoted to sponsors pulling out of the PGA Tour, meaning television ratings will plummet. And a third sketch during Weekend Update featured an interview with one of Tiger's mistresses.

"Greatest Golfer of All Time!" What an illusion he portrayed. What an arse he has turned out to be... an embarrassment to his wife & kids, to his mother and the memory of his father. An embarrassment to his sport. I just wonder what Earl Woods would have done with/said to Tiger.
No wonder he seemed to struggle and lose focus the past few years... his mind wasn't on family or golf, it was on banging anything he could, and wondering how he could buy silence. Not just a singular out-of-character stupid "one night stand" incident, but adultery with multiple partners, over an extended period of time.
Hope his wife takes him to the cleaners.
