Hooligan I like that I wonder if a judge would by that in a court of law. God is obviously the head of the church and Heb 4:13 "Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account." So it is not concealed, God sees it as open carry.
I think they get to carry AK's in mosque in Iraq. so why not in the USA. We are not taking our bible, song book, and AR, just wanting a 9,40, or 45

I've been known to carry in church from time to time. I definitely like the argument about Christ being the head of the church. I hope I'll never have the chance to try that one out!

Cause I help out with night service ie setting up chairs ect...I'm not becaue of all the moving around, but in moring service I am packin'.
I think the biggest problem in church would be the crowds of people if ever a situation arose.

I don't know if that would hold up in court or not. I really hope I never have to try. I just assume its the lesser of two evils - BG who shoots up a church or a civilian protecting his family. Basically, I am willing to take the chance of this not holding up in court since its way better than the alternative (death).

I don't attend church, or in my case, temple, but if I did, I would carry. Since my ccw is a bit different than the standard one, being prior le, I'm not restricted in most cases as to where I can carry. For example, I can't carry in courts, but I can on school grounds.

My question is, what about a church that has a school attached to it? Technically, its not a school when worship is going on, but would it still be considered a no-go?
Aside from that question, I see a very valid reason for carrying in church. Especially with larger churches like the one I used to go to, who could bring in 3000+ people on a given Sunday, it would be a prime target for a hostage situation IMO. |
