I buy a something new, I buy her some jewelry. Works everytime. If I make say $300 or $400 extra in a good week, then I drop $100 in her hand and say "treat yourself!"
And besides, I decided long ago that I wouldn't marry someone that didn't appreciate that I liked to do what I want to do. It's worked well for over 11 years now.

Part of my problem is that I am also a "task master" so I often tell myself I'm going shooting and then find myself in a project that I can't get out of.
However, the past several weeks has been different...every friggin' time I'm getting ready to head out, something comes up and I can't go...three girls in the house (wife included) sure can get in the way of a guys hobby. I figure that when the kids are grown, my wife will be so sick of seeing me hang around the house that she'll be begging me to get out and do something...I'm counting the days...

My range is in my back yard,lots of space.So I shoot when I want but still,Im going through a divorce tho LOL! Some ppl you just cant plz no matter what.

We both shoot alot, my problem comes from when she can't go with me because she has something to do or is running the kids around. When I go deer hunting i go for a week and she aks not a single question, when i hunt localy, she knows that I leave in the morning and will be home by dark. Life is too short to chase each other around and control what the other one does.
