Slide Glide?
Anyone ever tried Slide-Glide? I just came across it this morning: http://brianenos.ibforums.com/pages/slide-glide.html

I'd let someone else apply it to their firearm then look for the results, it seems like the slide guide will collect dust and burnt powder despite it's "insulating" properties. I wouldn't use it because it slows your pistols mechanical actions even though it's a lubricant. I'll stick with the original rem oil.

Ive got a bottle of Gunbutter. It repels dust and dirt and works great.
here is thier site. Just another option for ya. www.gunbutter.com I know this classifies as "wierd" info but i use it on remote control car bearings as well. It keeps the dust out of the bearing and small amounts will do. The bottle will last a long time. |

My bad, I'm new to lubricants and the ad for the slide glide was not very convincing. I'm only looking out what is best for my firearm and the application of unknown lubricants is a nono for me.
I'm interested in purchasing some Tetra gun grease, http://hunting.about.com/library/weekly/aa001121.htm any opinions or suggestions?

I've already ordered a Blue Wonder kit with all 4 products included. Just curious if anyone acutally used that slide glide. It doesn't seem right to have something tacky and sticky in there.

Its a very good product, try doing a search on it over at Brians Enos' forums and you'll find many satisfied customers.
http://www.brianenos.com/forums I run #1 or the lite when but of course I'm out right now and have been to lazy to order any more.

I don't like Tetra grease...it breaks downs and yellows up...
Slide glide is ok, you don't need to use very much. I use it along with conventiolal CLP, Mpro-7, or 10W Mobil One.
