You Tube Videos Start and Stop (Skip)

Hey all.
Just tried to look at the Mobile Home Commercial posted in another thread, and the video keeps starting and stopping.
This happens if I use the link, or go directly to You Tube.
This happens often with other videos also.
Anyone have any idea what the problem might be? I`m using IE8.
Thanks!
Regards, Pete

You tube has been going through some server changes... It will be on and off for a few days. It was REALLLLY bad a week ago.

Your best bet is as soon as the vid starts hit pause, go make a sammich come back and enjoy said sammich and vid.

Yes. Firefox has had some known issues with YouTube and other sites using Flash video that other browsers did not. It apparently had to do with the session restore functionality of FF, which was set by default to store browser tab information every 10 seconds. I'm not sure if this is still an issue or if it was addressed by the most recent update of FF.

Ok cause I thought it was related to all sites not just youtube.

YouTube often seems to perform quite poorly. You'd think they invest in more hardware, but maybe even Google is tapped out. I guess it doesn't help that I always insist on watching videos in HQ or HD if available. Often the regular, low res will load fine, but will take a long time to load in the higher quality modes, despite lots of available bandwidth on my end.
