Holy crapola!
Some of you may know of an author named Jeff Shaara. He writes historical novels. My wife is a big fan of his.
A couple years ago, my wife told me of a project he announced of a WWII trilogy. On a whim, I wrote him a note and sent him an e-copy of the book mom had written about dad's adventures in the war...all the spy stuff. Today, her pre-ordered copy of No Less Than Victory came in the mail. Just now she cracked it open and was reading it for a couple minutes when she gave a start and said.."Oh....oh.....your name is in this book!" She handed it to me and sure enough, I am listed (along with others) in his list of Research Sources..... Just.....dayum.....
