Dogs are awesome in their simplicity :)

So I have been poor and not able to afford a proper size kennel for my little dog. Two friends of mine are getting married and consolidating households and knew of my little problem and gave me their dog's cage as he no longer needs it. As soon as I get this thing together, she runs inside and lays down, then runs out and acts all excited. She is sitting in it for no reason! I love how the simplest thing can make a dog happy. Ahhhhh a dogs life : )

I believe it was Mark Twain that said, "I like most dogs better than most people." I gotta agree with him. Dogs are cool!

Dogs are the BOMB. Every dog should have a crate. They're den dwelling animals by nature, and almost every dog that has a crate finds much comfort in that small, dark, enclosed space.

We just scored our second pooch. Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (there's a mouthful)--the ultimate lap dog. Cutest dang thing you ever did see... We got him at 9 weeks & 3 days old, and he was about the size of a large squirrel. Tiny! He's already taken charge of his big brother, my almost 3 year old Brittany.

I still like my Brit better...but this little Cav has a way of worming his way into your heart.

Dogs rule. I like cats...but dogs just rule.

I'll never have another dog that isn't just like my last dog. Sweet as pie but look at me (the one eyed fatman) wrong and you die.

No matter how ****ty a week you've had, every day when you come home your dog is glad to see you. Your dog never holds against you things you didn't get done yesterday. Your dog never remembers what you said to your mother-in-law at the last holiday. Your dog never "feels fat". Your dog never doesn't want to be touched because you looked at another dog. If wives would/could respond to us as our dogs do, there would never be cheating from our side (on the other hand, many a dog will love whoever will pet their belly so maybe I should abandon this track...)/

I think most dogs behave better than most people to. At least the dogs are trainable
