Don't forget that when he took his number and wrote it on his post, it did not account for his post (+1) So his post was 1982599 = 2033090.
So 17401 plus 2033090 should equal 2Mil.

I think this whole thing is just an experiment to see how long it takes us to figure out who the winner really is. Then the person who does figure it out correctly gets a prize too!
