HSC 2 Gun Match (Quicktime Video)

Did the 2 gun match this past weekend at the Hernando Sportsman's Club. Pisols and Shotguns. It was a tough match. One stage had us crawling through sand. I brought a nice 1911, and it didn't like the sand at all! I had to nudge it into battery! Ran fine when the sand finally was cleared. Nonetheless, it was an awesme match and my shoulder is letting me know how much it "appreciated it!"

Here's a teaser video (Quicktime required, 5MB file) of the DVD I'll be producing soon:

Nice camera work, but I don't like the music

I often watch off road videos (Jeeps, 4x4s and such), but the music is so irritating. Why so much headbanging?

yeah i would rather hear the natural elements, i.e. gunshots, actions, movements, holster presentations...

The last time I made a shooting DVD it was cowboy action, and quite slow. Johnny Cash, Steely Dan, and America graced the soundtrack. The pace of this match warranted loud, in-you-face, attitude music. Well, at least this is the direction I'm heading right now with it. Compared to the weddings, commercials, and news gathering stuff I usually do, this is proving to be QUITE different.

Thanks for the compliment on the camera work. The $3K in equipment gives me an advantage and stepped up the quality of my work, but a good old fashioned steady hand is always needed in the end!

It's MIA. I tried to change it, and lo and behold, lost it! It turns out I never had it saved, only hosted on this site through the avatar upload. Oh well, change can be good!
