Man Commits Suicide At Gun Range - Local News Story - WESH Orlando
Man commits suicide at gun range... and he did it with a rental!
The article talks about several others who have done the same thing in recent months.
Tends to make me wonder about about the folks on either side of me at the range, but of course they probably wonder about me as well.

Or have death penalty for those who commit suicide

Real simple solution. You must bring a functioning firearm in, in order to rent a gun. If you already possess a gun, there is no need to go to a range to kill yourself.
If I have a car in the garage, I have no need to go to Hertz and rent a car to suck on the exhaust pipe.
People say that it defeats the purpose of a rental gun. Working part time at a gun store and indoor range, I would say that 90% of gun rentals are people that already have a gun, and want to rent something else to try it out before buying it, or just shoot something different.
We have a lot of suicides around here, right now, and they are all using the local 200 ft bridge span.

Yeah, except I have seen people rent guns at a local range because they are new to firearms and larning and trying to decide what gun they want to purchase.

I agree, these are the people that need to rent the most.

what pisses me off is teh selfishness of the people that do this.
-They mess up business for the range
-They ruin the day of the people shooting at the range
-They screw up their own families
-They make a mess
-They potentially could hurt others around them while committing their selfish act

Personally, I think it would have been a silly waste of money to buy a gun only to use it once.
