wow you've worked there three months and four days longer than i have been alive, now do you feel old? JK.

when i worked for the prison they gave us supervisors all kinds of training to retain staff and always harped on the different generations, you know, The Greatest, Baby Boomers, X, Why? and all that. they always talked about how us youngsters weren't loyal to the company but would be loyal to a certain super that they identified with. i believe that is part of the reason i was promoted to Sgt at 23, who knows. point is that in this day and age it is rare for someone to stay at a company 29 years, i say to you sir, good job and congrats!!!

my grandpa worked at the same alumina refinery for 35 years before he retired....that's a long damn time. imagine all the changes men and women like you have seen in the workplace. i intend to teach until i retire but will no doubt move around as a football coach......

Congratulations! It shows a level of commitment that most people just don't have any more.

I will have worked for the same company for 14 years at the middle of August. I worked for the same place for 9 years previous to this (it was while I was in junior high, high school & college).
