I had a nice Fossil watch for a year or so, but it was inordinately heavy. I just stopped wearing it.
I bought a cheap Timex analog watch with a schnazzy black leather band that I absolutely love. It was only $25.00, but it looks great with anything I wear (generally business casual) and is very durable. Funny story. I had the watch for about a year before I found out it had "Indiglo" backlighting. I was lifting a box above my head to place on a shelf and the watch turned itself on my wrist and pushed against the back of my hand. Suddenly, the thing lit up like crazy. I still can't believe how bright this thing is... -James |

jkswiss, I know I was the first to mention the "N" word, but please don't do it again as it may get Overkill too excited and then who knows where this thread or us will end up.

I have two watches that I wear most of the time: a 2000 Series Professional Tag Heuer stainless with silver face and a 3200 Series Lumi-Nox stainless with a black face. I don't care for gold on watches or the more dressy/flashy watches like Raymond Weils and Movados.
I also have a beater Timex Expedition that I wear while doing chores or out on the ranch. I go through these like paperbacks. They get paint on them or smashed while changing tractor impliments or beaten up somehow and I replace this watch almost on a yearly basis. Someday, I would love to have an Omega Speedmaster, someday, but they're pricey and I have many other things that I need to spend money on, so it may never happen. (I will probably inherit Dad's Rolex Day-Date somedays as well) - Brickboy240

This was a present from the now Ex. It's kind of beat up now, the black text is rubbing off, velcro barely works anymore... but it's still ticking. I'm not sure what I'll get next. Something cheaper and "disposable" probably.
