.38 all the way...........

If I recall a story from the past, was it not the
Board of Directors of IPSC, IDPA or one of the
modern shooting disciplines who conjured the
idea of a poll amoungst those present at a meeting.

The question or 'poll' was - "What kind of firearm
do you presently have on your person"? To the man,
all had .38s somewhere in a concealed fashion.

What does that say about the 'round' or 'wheelgun'
as it is quite popularily referred to in firearm circles
of modern times?

An excellent ariticle by a super nice person whom I
had the pleasure of meeting only once. I was impressed.
His article only fortifies my thoughts on the .38/.357.

Bottom feeders are great, I carry one also. But guess
what my 'go to piece is'?

NEITHER IS SUITABLE FOR CANADIAN HOCKEY!!!

Sorry, couldn't resist. I carry a snubnose .38 in the pocket when I wear Dockers, otherwise it's my XD-9 IWB. Both will work, it's whatever you feel more comfortable with!

Personally I feel 10 times as well armed when I have my XD on me. I can shoot like a champ with it. The snubnose is a great gun because it weighs about 18oz loaded and it's really small, but I can't shoot quite as well or as accurately with it. Sure I could shove it in some thug's chest and pull the trigger 5 times, but out past about 10 yards I wouldn't be as confident with it. Plus, it holds 5 shots vs. the 16 I get with a single mag in my XD!
