I was sitting in my computer chair reading up stuff over at miata.net around 12:30AM when all of a sudden I heard a double tap and then a triple tap and maybe a couple more single shots following. It sounded like it was to the southwest of my house towards a trailer park that is on the main highway about 1/4 mile away. I called up the PD and they dispatched a couple units within seconds of the call. One of them was at my house within ten minutes of my calling. I'm sure they never found the source of the gunfire, but it was comforting to find out I live in an area that seems to have quick response time by the police. If I ever need the fire department, there is a fire station about one mile away too

Took a while for me to get to sleep last night.

Yeah, that could pretty well ruin your night. Glad it went as well as it did.

Glad to hear all worked out and you got a quick responce.

I called the cops last year for shots fired and the police never did show up.
