I have been a member of GlockTalk since 1998 and, over time, have found it to be quite informative. Sure, there are some dunderheads that post there but every board has its "dysfunctional" members. Just have to learn the territory and roll with it. Free speech, even not so good free speech, is an important thing.

There isnt a lot of bashing on either. You have the occasion douche bag at each board who thinks one gun is better than others hands down. What you do see more at GT than here is bashing of all guns to a Glock. Its not a widespread problem and over the years, these morons who do bash other guns with no evidence have eventually be driven out of the community. However I still cringe on making post about SIG's, XD's or anything because I know the one douce bag in the crowd of 50000 will come on and say "get a Glock" or "should of gotten a Glock", even though I already own a Glock, and love it.
I love the GT website and visit it quite frequently, they have some very good members at that site and I think there is a wealth of information from some of the experienced members to be heard. Both sites have really made an improvement on driving out the douche bags and I really like seeing that.

I frankly do not recall Glock bashing to the extent
of calling it bashing. There are threads concerning
the Glock on this forum, but the bashing thing is not
recalled in my mind.
Perhaps one of the posters on this thread is a mite
upset because the thread even exisits, but I do not
see any bashing of the Glock. I say, "buy what you
want" and if you want to 'compare' it here on this
forum, then please do so. Bashing is kid's stuff for
the uneducated.
