I offered new info and some explanation. If you don't want to accept it that is your choice. It is also your choice to believe there will be a weapons ban or that the present administration is attempting to put one in place. There is nothing that i will say that will convince you otherwise.

I believe it is fear and paranoia that is driving up these prices and there is really nothing you can say that will convince me otherwise.

Please, are you seriously going to defend Rahm Emanuel's positions on gun control? Or, somehow claim he has been misunderstood? Do you have any idea of his actions and influence in Illinois with regard to gun control?

Click here for 4 full quotes on Gun Control OR background on Gun Control.
 • Voted NO on prohibiting product misuse lawsuits on gun manufacturers. (Oct 2005)
 • Voted NO on prohibiting suing gunmakers & sellers for gun misuse. (Apr 2003)
 • Prevent unauthorized firearm use with "smart gun" technology. (Aug 2000)
 • Rated F by the NRA, indicating a pro-gun control voting record. (Dec 2003)
Emanuel cosponsored H.R. 1312 (Assault Weapons Ban and Law Enforcement Protection Act of 2005) on June 30, 2005.

Quote:
Prevent unauthorized firearm use with "smart gun" technology.

Emanuel adopted the manifesto, "A New Agenda for the New Decade": Make America the “Safest Big Country” in the World
After climbing relentlessly for three decades, crime rates started to fall in the 1990s. Nonetheless, the public remains deeply concerned about the prevalence of gun violence, especially among juveniles, and Americans still avoid public spaces like downtown retail areas, parks, and even sports facilities.
We need to keep policing “smart” and community-friendly, prohibiting unjust and counterproductive tactics such as racial profiling; focus on preventing as well as punishing crime; pay attention to what happens to inmates and their families after sentencing; use mandatory testing and treatment to break the cycle of drugs and crime; and enforce and strengthen laws against unsafe or illegal guns. Moreover, we need a renewed commitment to equal justice for all, and we must reject a false choice between justice and safety.
Technology can help in many areas: giving police more information on criminal suspects so they do not rely on slipshod, random stop-and-search methods; allowing lower-cost supervision of people on probation or parole; and making it possible to disable and/or trace guns used by unauthorized persons.
Above all, we need to remember that public safety is the ultimate goal of crime policy. Until Americans feel safe enough to walk their neighborhood streets, enjoy public spaces, and send their children to school without fear of violence, we have not achieved public safety.
 • Goals for 2010
 • Reduce violent crime rates another 25 percent.
 • Cut the rate of repeat offenses in half.
 • Develop and require “smart gun” technology to prevent use of firearms by unauthorized persons and implement sensible gun control measures.
 • Ban racial profiling by police but encourage criminal targeting through better information on actual suspects.
 • Require in-prison and post-prison drug testing and treatment of all drug offenders.

Emanuel scores F by NRA on pro-gun rights policies While widely recognized today as a major political force and as America's foremost defender of Second Amendment rights, the National Rifle Association (NRA) has, since its inception, been the premier firearms education organization in the world. But our successes would not be possible without the tireless efforts and countless hours of service our nearly three million members have given to champion Second Amendment rights and support NRA programs.

The following ratings are based on lifetime voting records on gun issues and the results of a questionaire sent to all Congressional candidates; the NRA assigned a letter grade (with A+ being the highest and F being the lowest).

Fear, well DUH! Paranoia, yeah probably some.

I don't see them passing anything in the near future that would have them knocking on my door to collect my guns, with the exception of the registration law. If there were a question about registration, be sure that they would be knocking on your door to clear things up, one way or the other.

This has been the word among Democratic ranks since last July. At least the ones I associate with. Democrats are very tired of losing elections over gun rights.
They are tired of being vocal gun grabbers. They want to be gun grabbers though. They just dont plan on winning on a anti gun platform, they will win on a socialist platform, then just grab the guns when they feel like it.

Ohhh so this is really a NRA hate thread, mis information campaign etc.
They surely didnt "win" as about 3 million folks in chicago cant get a gun, theres a million silly restriction in california, such as what color XD is approved or not, and the gun grabbers havent stopped in DC yet either. I would hardly call it a win.

Please, just say what you mean. Lets not beat around the bush. What are you doing here, and what are you hinting at.

How can you honestly say the NRA "won". Any battle won is great, i dont see any end in sight for fighting, look at the % of folks that gobble up obama's nonsense, all the socialist crap, the 2nd is on the verge of going bye bye any day on the horizon over the next 20 years. It could be 3 weeks from now, it could be 12 years. I see no end in sight to the gun grabbing. Half the agenda of the UN is about a global gun ban. If you have ever read actual minutes from meetings you would know this. It is not secret, not by a long shot.

I am guessing you are not a NRA member, and havent read any of this in your america first freedom magazine... you DID NOT ever receive cause you are not a member.

you cant know something is unlikely .... unless we are talking actually mathematical outcomes .... say in gambling in black jack.

You cant "know" the dems will or wont do something. And you dont get to go again. Its game over.

Please share your expertise and show how more gun volume and gun hoarding etc is good for the NRA. They dont get a % of every sale, this is a very very very weird conclusion to draw.

capitalism will take care of that. No need to "hope" .... hope is the reason we are where we are.

Relax, just a little and let these prices come down.
How could you possibly know that?

No one? its already happened for one, so your never/ever thing is a lie.

Who is the one you speak of? Local cops? obama brigade/obama youth ?
UN troops ?

The UN makes no secret of thier anti gun goals, and the left loves the UN, more than they love america. The UN and the left are almost the same, it might as well be an anti government rebel faction. Its all fundamentally anti american propaganda.

You can please take back your ridiculous statement.

Paranoia, Raw Paranoia
converted saiga?

I see saiga 7.62x39 for $500, and .308 saiga for $550 all over the place.

Paranoia is not the same as demand and capitalism.

But as a proud liberal, i doubt you recognize, understand, or even like these facts. You prefer to imagine a boogie man, we can hope and wish away through a collective (big surprise ) campaign of handholding and hope.

Pent up demand. Untill obama was ellected, there was no reason to expect you couldnt get a gun next week, or next month, or next year.

Now with a real end in sight, everyone wants to get one while the getting is still possible, much less good.

so not buying guns, makes one not living in fear?

Thats what all the hoopla about gun control is about. Dumb lefties who think a government ban on guns makes them safe. They want to trade their rights for an unattainable "zen" peacefulness. These are the people you are proud to ASSocitate yourself with.

Why are libtards so juvenile and simple. Throw away all rational thought, be like me, it will set you free. Hording is bad, thats what mean gun owners do. Become part of the solution, let the gubment save you.

please leave.

Both the site, and america.

You and people like you are killing it one day at a time.

Your clearly a plant.

Your here to draw-up, however limited support you can, for "the one" under the guise of lowered gun prices.

Accept obama = cheap ammo.

I would rather pay $100 per bullet, then turn a blind eye to the truth.

Your painfully juvenile kiddie psychological mantra repetition might work on your commie liberal web sites. Not here.

We are all stocked up on what you sell.

see ya

Just like a liberal to turn capitalism and supply and demand into feelings ... cause literally half you brain doesnt work. Your like a art student, poet etc who has had the rational part of his brained actually removed. All you have to lean on is hope, feelings, hugs and pixie dust.
