polish M44 that is

took the wife to the range today and let her blast way with her XD-9 and the smith 44 mountain gun.
do to high winds(30+) and fires most rifle ranges have closed.
had to shoot the pole at 30 meters.
185 gr lrn gc (my cast) .311
19.0 AA5744
S&B brass
wi lrp

the group on the left was with the bayo in and the group on the right is with the bayo folded out.it does make a difference.
total of 12 rd's fired.
not bad for a 70.00 gun show special

Never seen a Polish M44 with dark wood, it's usually blonde.

then again I don't remember seeing one in real life in a while.

ditto here,thats what caught my eye when it was sitting on the table.most are in unissued cond.this one has been there and done that."well used".I used hoppes copper solvent and got about 20 green patches out of the bore.the bore now shines.I would guess some of their rifles were exported to who knows where???.
the best part of the day was the wife with the XD. she loves it and shoots it better than the sig 225.

it is the house gun...
