selecting a sling for Mossy 500
My beautiful and wonderful girlfriend got me a class at Sig Academy for my Christmas present - Defensive Shotgun. The class requirements list states I must have a sling on my shotgun. Any suggestions? Should I go with the standard type sling, or one of the new tacti-cool single point slings?

I couldn't find the attachments to make my mossy accept a sling in our local stores.
I believe you have to order another magazine cap, that has the attachment for a sling. the stock just needs a little drilling. at least the unclemikes wouldn't work for me. |

I would give them a call and ask them what would best suit your needs during the course. Unfortunately, Ive never put a sling on my shotguns. Probably one reason i hate to carry them on long hunting days of deer season.
