Some of the worst efforts in tackle of the other team, on both sides, I've ever seen. Geez, have them wrapped up, and still get away. When you have over 1300 yards total in offense combined, it shows not much of a defensive efforts, on both sides. College games last so long, with all the timeouts. I think PennState vs FS was a better game, even with 3 ot's.

Sorry...I went to Texas Tech and come from a family of Aggies and Red Raiders. Yeah, we lost the Coton Bowl...but we made them work for it!

Hard to cheer for the Longhorns...at any time. Sorry. Its just not in my DNA.

That kid is amazing, I'll give you that.
However, Texas was given that game after he was clearly down before he lateraled.
Morally, Texas should at the least give USC Co-National Champions.
Just my $0.02.

yeah, and USC should morally give Notre Dame half of that for Bush pushing Leinart in for the win, then another half to someone else for maybe a missed holding penalty, another half for a missed block in the back.....

USC 2006 1/15 National Champs!

Yea that was a real tragedy. I was floored by that call and lack of review. I'm sure some calls on USC may have been missed, but nothing that crucial where a 7 points were at risk.

BUT,

Texas clearly intercepted a pass that was then knocked loose by the ground, and USC got to keep the ball.

Tit for Tat

the refs were definatley off last night.

HOOK EM!

The West Virginia/Georgia game was also great.

No not really, it looked that way on only 1 camera angle, the others showed that it wasnt the ground. The play was reviewed, which is more than what they gave for USC, which wasnt reviewed at all. Plus it showed to not be undisputable evidence.

I dont know if VY wouldnt have made the touchdown even if they did catch that bad call of the touchdown in the next play. Unfortuantly its just one of those things that really suck in the end, that you cant really do anything about but wonder.

I definitely agree with that, almost all of the bowl games, BCS and not were very exciting.
