range time
My father and I got some range time in today. Took my XD, P22, Mil Spec 1911. My dad took his Taurus Pt 140, Wilson 1911. We shot a about 100 rnds through each pistol got some really good groups out of my XD today as well as my dads 1911.
My dad had a FTF with the XD shooting some Ranger T's but I think it was operator error. the primer had been struck but was off center and barley made any indention. I shot the round with no problems. This was the first time my dad shot my XD with Dons Guide Rod and 22# spring and he loved the difference it made that he is starting to consider the XD has his next pistol I tried again to shoot the PT140 and I still think that gun is a piece of crap, the trigger feels like a cap gun I once had as a kid. I was shooting all over the place. I would not recommend this gun I have tried and tried to shoot it. My Father has problems with it also. Ity may be part trade if he goes for the XD. I had a good time with the P22 and the supressor. there were some newbs to shooting that had bug eyes when I pulled that baby outta the range bag and screwed the Supressor on. I notice that with the supressor I shoot a little low and without I am pretty much on point. Tomorrow I will be cleaning the XD and getting it ready to be shipped to James. What a way to end the year HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL

Yeah I went out yesterday too. Other than a few rounds with my SKS a week ago, this was the first time to the range in over two months. I moved and the weather has sucked since I've been here.
Took my XD, P94, Buckmark and SKS out. Burned a lot of powder
