PACKING THE SHTF GEAR
Well,
My company is working security for a large Corporate New Years Eve party tonight. I have been given a list of people that will be at the party that are Attorneys, both Defense and County/City. Some of these people on this list have their own Bodyguards because their lives have been threatened by clients or people they have put in jail. This always makes me nervous because I do not like working with people that carry guns that I do not know.
Anyway,
Myself along with 4 of my employees will be working this party.
We will be carrying a .45ACP Pistol, Either Sig P220's or a 1911 of some type.
All my employees will be carrying a Back up Gun. Mine is my XD 9MM SC. The other guys all use .357mag revolvers. I will have a case containing 2 Mossberg 500a Persuader 8 shot Shotguns loaded with Reduced Recoil 00 buckshot that will be secured in the security office.


This is a really high profile assignment for my company and possibly could lead to future contracts. I hate the fact that a lot of these people will be drinking and if the SHTF I will have a bunch of intoxicated people to deal with, so we are also bring Pepper Spray and I will have a Taser Gun.

The party starts at 20:00.

While I was loading up my gear and waiting for my employess to arrive I just wanted to tell everybody to have a Great Night tonight. Be Safe,
and if the SHTF Zombies can be taken out with Pelvic Shots!

The bodyguards are probably saying the same thing about you. Maybe next time something like this is going to happen you might invite these people to a meeting so you can see their faces and trade info with them. After all they are in the same line of work you are. Just a thought.

Pretty much what I was thinking too, around town here, rent-a-cops are a big joke. Hope all goes well though, are they really afraid someone will shoot up the place or are they more worried about drunks getting out of control and uninvited guests looking for a place to party?.

Well I am slightly more than a rent a cop.

The event was a non event, the organizer that hired my company was pretty much looking for a show a force, I think they just wanted some Armed people walking around looking tough.....which I did not mind doing, considering what I charged them for our services.
I also have secured at least 2 more very lucrative contracts, so it was not a total waste of time!
