Well guys, what are the plans for the new year?

I figure I'll finish a short story, win an IDPA pin and pick up a 1911 (Kimber or SA, not sure.)

As far as my "gunworld" is concerned, I think I will sell off stuff I don't shoot for new stuff I will

may even start reloading again. I have a single stage press, but I don't mind. I am in no hurry at all :P
also I would like to move to Croatia and work at the factory as a test firer for XDs

I hope it pays better than minimum wage

I think there is a new rifle or two in my future and a couple of Kahr PM9's. I would say the Kahr's are going to be the first priority in the realm of new purchases though. One for my wife and one for myself. I really want a 300 win mag. Not sure what the hell I'll use it for around Ohio but I want it..lol

We also want to shoot the following USPSA matches in 2006. Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Tenessee, Michigan, Area 5. I would also like to make it to the U.S. Lim/Lim-10/Revolver Nationals.

Me pocket book will dictate what me buys.

I do fore see a new SA XD45ACP 4", a new Kahr
.45ACP, a new SA XD45ACP SC and a used SA
Micro 1911 in .45ACP. The latter will be picked up
tomorrow from a fellow forum member.

End of story. End of money. Or, the other way
around.

When I first got into hunting, I purchased a .300 Win Mag, and all of my friends asked me what I bought it for because it was too much for what is around here. I still have it because it is real nice (Remington 700 Sendero stainless fluted), but I use a .270 for hunting.

As far as New Years resolutions, I want to get in better shape. I'm actually doing OK at that. Also, I plan on not getting any new firearms this year and to take the ones I do have to the range.

I intent to lose 40 pounds this year. I am a TOG (tub of goo). I hope to look "lean & mean" for the guys who come to our Group Shoot in June. That is my goal, wish me luck!

We can make the progress public, as that will put pressure on us both to get this done.

If you want, we both can pick a goal, and if we both hit the goal, we both win. I am good either way.
