My only resolution is to get rid of this friggin cold that my sister-in-law's little bastard children gave to me. I went the entire year without a sniffle until they came here.

Her husband left her with a 6-week old baby and 2 toddlers. Technically I think I can call them bastards. Anyway, next time I will deny access to our house - unless she agrees to go topless, of course.

So, where are you headed once you set out? We'll need to go shooting once or twice before you go.
My house was God's punishment for getting remarried too soon (four years) after my real wife died. Wife II (fake wife) sold me on needing a big house to accommodate our blended family. Three teenagers who were out of the house and in college (Navy for my son) before our three year marriage even expired.

I'll be the first chump to lose money on Boca real estate in the last decade after she takes her half of EVERY ****ING THING (do I sound like Sam Kinneson? That's what I'm trying for) LOL.

This house is like the proverbial boat that makes the owner's two best days the day he buys and the day he sells.

Not sure where I'll end up. My real goal is to trim down to where I can get everything I own in the trunk of my car. (Might be tough with my golf clubs) Maybe even sleep and live in the car if I can figure out a way to get a DVR and HDTV to work in it. LOL And I'd like to keep my barbecue. Then I'd be good.

Guess the Z4 will have to be retired in favor of a one bedroom SUV.

I'm serious about the acting though, so I'll probably have to store my guns. My son's in Pearl Harbor and looking at packing.org it seems Hawaii is no more gun friendly that California. But after this year, he'll be in Norfolk for the two year refueling and paint job (isn't that ****ing amazing?) and he's been drooling over the 1911 and Ruger .22, so no problem finding a good home for guns.

I'm ready for a Palm Beach shoot any weekend day. Name a time and place, I'm there.

Peace,
D.

Sorry to hear about your troubles Delija, hope you have at good atty. (what an oxymoron that is). Good luck on the acting, there are actors out there who started out at an older age than you (tho I will have to say 60 is pretty old, lol). I believe the lady who did the, "Where's the beef," commercial started in her 70s or later (I met her once at a benefit for one of our deputies shot in the head (and survived).

She was (deceased now) a real short ****. She walked up to our table while I was sitting down and I was taller than her (I'm 6')!! A very nice lady.

Again Delija good luck. When you are rich and famous I'll tell my grandkids I "knew" you when you weren't. Hey, maybe when you are and I'm finally old like you, you can get me into the game too, lol. I made some training films when I was still working.

Good luck on the acting D! Sorry to hear about your problems.

I plan to lose about 70lbs for the new year. I used to weigh about 320 back in 03. Then I did low carb/ low fat and got down to about 225 at my lowest. Now after eating too many carbs and WAAAYYY to much fat Im back up to 290. I have been lifting weights about 5-6 days a week so im sure some of my weight gain is muscle. I plan on doing low carb/ low fat and working out 6 days a week. about 45 mins of weights 3 days, then 45 mins of cardio the other 3 with my leg workout of about 30 minutes. I should be back down to about 220 in no time!!

Several goals for this year:

First, run more miles and more often. Being 40 means it is harder to stay thin...I feell a gut trying to emerge..too much Tex-Mex and Tecate.

Second, my daughter turns 7 and its time to start her out on my single shot 22 rimfire bolt gun. It has a fairly short stock and she is bored with the bb gun. Time to introduce her and ease her into a lifetime of shooting, liek the rest of us!

Third, I am going to pay more attention to my investment portfolio and not let things ride in doggy areas for so long, like I have done last year. Get back to being more involved and aggressive in the market. If I am going to retire at 60, I need to get back on the stick.

Thats about it...but I am sure I'll add to this list later on!
