How's your winter?

HOT! It's about 70 degrees in Houston. The sun is out and it feels like it's in the 90's. The low is around 50. Some winter we are having.... It's beats shoveling snow anyday though. :P

I am north of Dallas and the temps are about the same except we havent had measurable rain in months so its very dry and very low humidity. We are living in a tinder box up here and yesterday half the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex was on fire. Sumpin gotta change soon.

Right at this moment, we are having winds with
gusts to 40 mph, pea sized hail with heavy rain.
Temp. expected - 60 degrees here in Central Ky.

I had rather see the snow and temp. in the 20s vs.
what we are having for a so called winter.

Ed

Updated. Only in Kentucky. If you do not like the
weather, just hang around a few minutes. Now, we
are expecting a few snow flurries later tonight.

so..so, here in Las Vegas Valley. Suppose to have rain this weekend... yeah, right!! The Sierra Nevada's always block most of the heavy weather, and that is why we usually get our good rains in the summer, due to the Tropical Flow Monsoons out of the south.
For up to date weather, see my weather site @ http://wx.findu.com/k6ydw

I'll be down in Vegas visiting family this coming weekend. Weather is usually the best part about visiting there this time of year.

I'm visiting family on Long Island, NY and its about 37 right now. We spent two days in Manhattan and it was in the low 40's during the day. I really enjoyed seeing the sights again (moved to FL about 12 years ago) but my family is ready to head home to Sunny South Florida.

There's just something not right about drinking a Corona on the pool deck wearing a winter coat and wool hat.

35-40 degrees, windy, and rain, lots of it. Can't wait for it to get colder and turn everything into a giant ice rink.
