Today the temp here was approx 45 deg C in the sun. Thats 113 deg F for all you none metric people. A bit on the warm side. I spotted a Blue tongue today carrying his own water bag!
Oh I had better explain a Blue Tongue is a lizard with a blue tongue that is native to Australia.

0645 Jan 1 2006 64 degrees, forecast to be in high 70s today - - - yesterday the high was 82. Only negative to this - - - the mosquitoes!!!! They'll carry off children and small dogs.

Freakin' 82 degrees here today...(truly not showing off here), but dammit! It's January 1st for God's sake...it is supposed to at least cool down a bit!

So far the coldest its been this winter was 36. Havn't even had a freeze yet. This time last year we actually got snow on Cristmas day. Now its a very humid 73 outside. Thats southern Louisiana for you.
