The last of November and the first three weeks of December were brutul, every morning of the deer season was in the minus numbers and the days would only warm up to the low teens. But now it is pretty warm with the nights in the 20's and the days in the 30's. The ice has left the Mississippi and alot of the ponds. But with January and Febuary it will be back. Alot of winter is still left with some of the heavest snows coming in March.

I'll be down in Vegas visiting family this coming weekend. Weather is usually the best part about visiting there this time of year.
Suppose to rain on Sat. but otherwise in the mid 60's, average for this time of the year.

So how come ever time I come down to Houston its friggin cold (by Houston standards)..... :P :P

I've been coming down there for business at least every other week since October and the last few times including the week before Christmas its been cool to down right cold (even had frost on the windshield a number of times).

I actaully wish I had more time to see more of the area, I've pretty much been stuck in the Westchase area with no time for anything else. I started taking 59 to and from IAH just for some different scenery (was always taking the 8 tollway). The project I'm working should be just about done so just one more trip to Houston the week of the 9th then onto Columbus OH.

It's always cold and snowy in the Westchase area. You need to get toward Katy or Sugarland for the good weather. 70 here today.

Went to the outdoor range yesterday. Sweated like a pig. Should have worn my shorts.

Figures, must be why all of the folks that work in that office seem to all live in the Katy or Sugarland areas... Some how I always end up in someplace like Tempe in August and Boston in January. One of these days I'm going to be able to weasle my trips so I hit the northern areas in the summer and southern/southwest areas in the winter (maybe when my life doesn't resemble Dilbert's).

To get back on topic, somethings all screwed up. We had snow on the ground for 3 weeks in December and now that January is days away its in the 40's and 50's during the day. I wish it would just stay cold and get it over with....only about 9 weeks or so until matches start up again. I'll be there day one even if I have to wear my Carhartt's to stay warm...

Above freezing in WI, could wash the truck without it freezing into a big green ice cube before drying it off I think it's almost summer
