Canada blames U.S. for gun violence

http://www.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/americ....ap/index.html

CNN article. My goodness. Profound stupidity and profound distaste for America. No offense to our friendly Canadian members... Martin and Miller are buffoons.

I blame Canada for violence seen by children from their hockey games.

"John Thompson, a security analyst with the Toronto-based Mackenzie Institute, says the number of guns smuggled from the United States is a problem, but that Canada has a gang problem -- not a gun problem -- and that Canada should stop pointing the finger at the United States."

Duh!

The Eastern Liberals anyway...
We have a lot of good "right headed" Canadians that are members of many of the gun forums.

I stand corrected, and my apologies to both of the Canadians that aren't liberals.

You gotta be kidding me. I guess this illustrates the point that if you restrict and outlaw guns only the criminals will have them.

Of course it's our fault. I couldn't agree more with Martin and Miller. We've given them mind-numbing, violent TV shows. We've exported to them our namby-pamby, liberal, kum ba ya, buy the world a Coke method of dealing with criminals. But, all is not lost. If they just pass more gun control laws, Canada can once again regain their Utopian status and everyone will want to immigrate to their country instead of the crappy ol' USA. That would be great!

Now, lets's all have a great big hug.

(Most of the above is, of course, satire. I'm serious about the crap they have on TV, though. I wouldn't let Canadian kids watch that crap and I wouldn't expose US kids to it either. MTV & rap: what a great way to turn kid's minds to mush. Add the teacher's desire to "never hurt any child's self esteem" into the mix and what you see is what you get.)

Well I guess this is the Americas fault to Ay

Quote:
Miller said the availability of stolen Canadian guns is another problem, and that poverty in certain Toronto neighborhoods is a root cause.
Quote:
"There are neighborhoods in Toronto where young people face barriers of poverty, discrimination and don't have real hope and opportunity. The kind of programs that we once took for granted in Canada that would reach out to young people have systematically disappeared over the past decade and I think that gun violence is a symptom of a much bigger problem," Miller said.
So did we cause these too.

Well they have been importing their liberal socialistic crap to us for years and years now. Maybe it is because the wonderful socialist system does not fix any problems and that is why these things are happening there.

But of course like many freaking countries in the world they cant just own up to the problems they have and cause; lets just blame it all on the US.
