Lube your Mag Spring?
When you disassemble you mags do you lube the mag spring?
Or do you just wipe it with a patch?

I don't mess with my mags. They are kept loaded full time. Last thing I need is a mag plate falling off because I took it apart to many times.

I wipe the spring and follower down with a sillicone rag. Use a toothbrush to push it up in the mag and pull it through. Clean under the feed lips on the mag also. No oil on the spring or mag.

I clean my mags regularly with a patch soaked in Breakfree, but do not lube them at all. I have been shooting a lot of USPSA and Single Stack matches lately at a range with dirt floors. The mags rapidly get Florida dirt (read sandy dirt) in them and the last thing I want is lube to hold said sand in the mag body.
I don't think lubing any part of a mag buys you anything.
