I like this art. Combines three of our vices - booze, women, and guns! Normally it's safer to do one at a time though.

here is my first attempt at picking up a paint brush after 4 years of not even sketching on a paper towel...(If you can believe it I was once accepted to the Art Institute Of Boston, OCAD, and every other art school I aplied to) hopefully my second painting comes out better.

I remember a friend of mine who was a master hand engraver...spoke in a deep german accent...I went to his office one time and he was working on an Ivory handled handgun....doing some repair work...he said it was Adolf Eichmanns dress handgun..gold inlay with Ivory handle....pretty cool....I can't prove it but this guy was one of the best hand engravers in St.Louis...
anyway..the picture of the engraved gun reminded me of this story.
