State of Fear?
Has anyone read Michael Crichtons new book State of Fear?
Its a enviro thriller in which he uses a ton of sources to sorta debunk a lot of the myth about global warming. I was shocked to see all the sources to a lot of stuff that seems to be understood as fact. Such as 30-50 million deaths caused by banning DDT!? Accourding the sources listed its not nearly as toxic as the stuff that replaced it. Anyway I want to check into his sources some more...but from reading this book it really looks to me like the environmental movement is so far off its not likely to do anything to help. My family has always been into wasting as little as possible etc. Which kinda makes sense with our business being photography. I'm just surprised how much of this stuff looks like BS.
