They were supposedly looking for a DA 45 semi-auto I'm sure with H&K providing the future weapons platforms XM-8 series =, I'd look for them to get the contract.

SOCOM has already outfitted Marine First Det. with the Kimber Warrior. I bought one and it is one fine pistol. Deadly accurate out of the box.

the 1911 is a fine pistol
but I have heard form the sand box that the fine sand and dust is causing real problems with the 1911 platform that being said the person I spoke to is a true 1911 believer his comment was that the dust is really fouling things up 2 cents |
