Those will work too - you have to be careful of some rechargeables as their voltages can be a good deal higher than lithium 123's. Surefire's are good batteries, but you can get generics for about a buck apiece. Battery Station is a good place to buy from. That page is actually a link to the Candlepower Forums specials page, which is another forum worth checking out to see how much people actually spend on flashlights. AmondoTech also has 123's and CR2's for $1 each - good people to order from as well.

Hope this helps.

check out www.botac.com. I got a 20pk of 123's for $15 or $16. Might be a little more now, but still a steal.

If you order a dozen from battery station and then add in the 6.95 s&h charge it ends up being more than a dozen from Surefire (Surefire dozen is 19.95 with shipping, Batt. Stat. is 21.95 with shipping).

Amondotech comes out a little cheaper though. If you order more than a dozen it becomes a better deal. I ordered my last dozen from Surefire. I may order from Amondotech next time.

I've ordered a dozen from them and they were awesome. I had my order in three days. The more you buy from them the cheaper it is. Plus they have a special if you buy a buch with the carrier they have for them.

I looked there, but they wanted 12$ to ship 24 cells to me. 36$ total where surefire was 34$... close pricing.

flat shipping may take up to 3 weeks... funny
