SAN FRANCISCO GUN BAN UPDATE

This latest victory over the NRA will have Liberal/Democrats celebrating country-wide.

SAN FRANCISCO
NRA loses ruling on Prop. H gun ban

"In rejecting the NRA's petition, the Court of Appeals has apparently recognized that there are legitimate issues involving municipal powers and the will of voters that need to be litigated in the trial court," said Matt Dorsey, a spokesman for City Attorney Dennis Herrera. "If the NRA was expecting a slam dunk in the appellate court, they didn't get it."
NRA officials could not be reached to comment.

Prop. H, which bans handgun possession by city residents other than police officers and those required to have them for professional purposes, is scheduled to take effect Jan. 1. It also prohibits the sale, manufacture and distribution of firearms and ammunition within city limits.

It looks like it isn’t over yet, thank God.

Keep fighting the Liberal/Democrats before it’s too late.

It's just the tip of the iceberg for CA. I'm sure many will follow until the whole state legislature tries it.

Just another court case that's going to drag on for years to come.

But the gun ban law takes effect on January 1st.

The NRA lawsuit will not end the ban until they win the court case. The longer the courts take the longer our fellow XDForum members in San Francisco are criminals if they don't turn in their firearms to the Democrats in charge.

There are a couple of things we can do while waiting for the NRA lawsuit to hopefully come to the rescue.

1 – Contact your Congressmen and urge them to get Supreme Court nominee Judge Alito confirmed. The Democrats are fighting the confirmation. If the San Francisco Democrat gun ban law reaches the Supreme Court we want a strict Constitutionalist like Alito on our side. We don’t need Liberal/Democrats removing our rights with liberal activist judges.

2 – Vote against Democrats at all elections because Democrats almost always support gun ban and gun control laws. The Republican majority in Congress, since 1994, have stopped all Democrat gun control bills. We must add to this majority power - its the only way.

See, there is something to do instead of nothing.

You turned off your recorder and made a sensible political statement. I am in shock. Bet you can't do it two times in a row.

It's interesting you brought that up. Has he, in fact, demonstrated support for the 2nd amendment? If so, I'd say good luck to Justice Alito, and its about time the Supreme Court grew a pair and took a stance on the subject.

Well, he did agree that the ban on machine guns was an unconstitutional excercise of 'interstate commerce' so that's a good start.

San Fransisco just needs to evaporate into a cloud of dust.

I hope all the ones that voted for the ban get car jacked to show them the criminals don't care about gun laws.
