an interesting attempt at anti-gun

I found this article, and found it interesting. It's fundamentally flawed because it targets illegal guns as the cause of crime instead of criminals, but I find it interesting that it goes to lengths to accuse "illegal guns" instead of just guns in general.

It also mentions Florida's new Castle Doctrine law. Something very interesting to note is that the entire article is about gun laws that were designed to stop gun violence that failed. It says nothing of the failure of Florida's CCL program or any effect, positive or negative, of the new changes to the laws. Looks to me like someone recognizes the fact that CCL work to stop violence, but doesn't want to admit it.

Interesting post.
Here is a link on this Ben Johnson character.

Quote:
During his training to become a British police officer, Ben Johnson recalled, an instructor told him and other recruits, "If you ever see somebody carrying a gun, turn and run away as quickly as possible."

Which brings up that allegedly famous/infamous London Bobby line
"Stop! or I'll say Stop! again."

So the Bobbies are trained to run away from people with guns??? Who then will protect the unarmed masses, if not the polis?

Stop or I'll say stop again....heehee. Silly Europeans.

I thought the infamous Bobby line was, "OH DEAR GOD, PLEASE DON'T KILL ME." Shouted over the shoulder of little girl he is cowering behind.

I think I'm gonna take my Star BM and do some Christmas shopping in London.
