Thats not very nice...WWJD? Actually...the only people that should be offended by "Merry Christmas" are the atheists. Most God fearing people of any faith will appreciate recognition of God.

You know if you greet someone Merry Christmas they don't have to take an offence. They can return the greeting Happy Hanukkah or Kwanzaa. Basically you paying a complement to each other in your religion. It like giving the highest form of complement from your beliefs

I say we should all start a holy war and kill each other off so we don't have to put up with these topics anymore. It's what all the third world countries do.

I'm not even religious and it pisses me off that people want to remove "religious tokens" out of our country. This country was founded on the idea of freedoms and the belief of God.

God belongs in the Pledge, God belongs on our money, God belongs in our country. If people don't want to buy a Christmas Tree, that's fine, they don't have to celebrate Christmas. Just don't come bitchin' to me when you don't get a present.

/end rant.

Does anyone else notice that "Santa" and "Satan" have all the same letters in their names and both historically wear red suits? Has anyone ever seen them photographed together? I put it to you that they are one and the same. Santa/Satan is trying to sell the idea that burglarizing someones home, eating their food and leaving is good and normal. I heard a rumor that the Easter bunny was working for him as well as his flamboyant "life partner", the tooth fairy. This evil must stop. On December 24th, I for one will be sitting in a duck blind outside my house with a Remingon and a box of shells. Duck? Turkey? Ham? Screw that, we're eating venison for Christmas!

Merry Christmas everybody. Can we get on with our lives now? If I hear Bing Crosby on my COUNTRY radio station one more time I'm going to go down the station's office and artfully arrainge the life size nativity orgy.

Take some action. Go into you local Lowe's and find the nearest overhead paging/intercom phone and announce, MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE and keep on with jingle bells etc.. until the manager gets there and asks you to leave, while you are still holding the page/intercom ask him why cant this be a Merry Christmas. Good luck.

More than being a religeous thing, its tradition! It has been forever. Pretty soon we're going to be attending church to celebrate "Holiday-Eve". People are so worried about offending someone that they are turning every other American away from them. Personally, I haven't heard anyone complain about stores calling them Christmas Trees, so why the change? I'd like to see proof of the complaints that wraanted such a change. Or is it just a giant cover up by the government? Everyone wants religion out of this country so bad, I wouldn't doubt it that the Feds paid some stores to remove the CHRISTmas from their advertising.

Pretty soon it's gonna be "Land of the weak, home of the oober-sensitive"

Ok, while the entire country is on the rampage to NOT have the word "Christmas" anywhere, I ask this question...

Has anyone actually HEARD of anyone being offended by the Word "Christmas" being said or written anywhere? Sorry, but I live in the 4th largest city in this nation and run into many non-Christians and NOT ONE has expressed being offended by seeing "Christmas" or a nativity scene anywhere...not one. I actually had a Jordanian co-worker wish me and mine a Merry Christmas (imagine that).

Most of the people I see on the television, going on about not having Christmas item in public view are WHITE! Yep...white as I am (being half Swede...I am pretty damn white). None of these "protesters" are Jewish, Islamic or other non- Christians.

Is the removal of Christmas and all things Christmas REALLY being done to quell the offended or as some sort of stick in the eye by secularist left to the religious right? Somehow, I don't see the anti-Christmas folks as being that concearned with anyone's feelings.

Either way, the removal of Christmas from everything is really, really silly and largely uncalled for. Too bad the major retailers and corporate America is caving in to a very small minority (probably smaller than the minority that is actually offended by the word "Christmas!")
