Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children

I know most of the older folks probably have no idea of what this game is. I played FFVII when it first came out, I think back in 97. I think this was a turning point in RPG's, and regardless it was the most memorable video game I've ever played.
Anyways, they made the video game movie on it, and it was awesome. Its not available yet in the States but I watched it anyways. The fight scenes were awesome; this movie cannot be compared with the dismal failure that was Spirits Within. It was nuts seeing everyone in CG, Tika, Aeris, Barret, Cid, Cloud, Sephiroth, it was wierd. This was a video game I logged over 60 hours playing and to see those guys walk and talk was crazy.
The people who have never touched this video game will probably think I'm nuts but if you've played the game, this movie is a definite must buy. I don't even know why I'm posting this in a gun forum but I am Well, this movie just made my sorry Friday night.

I thought it only came out for the PSP. If Blockbuster has it for DVD, I am there NOW! The Final Fantasy series is the most AWESOME RPG game ever. And yes, I am one of the oldie people here... 30 next week.

It won't be out in the states for some time. I downloaded it the day it came out, and was duly impressed. It was truly a great movie.

I think some of the translated text might've been screwy then, but I'm sure there's a better subtitling by now. It's definitely worth a download. Don't forget to check out the Last Order anime that came with the ultra-super-plus edition in Japan. It clears up a lot of the background to FF7.

I d/l'ed the subbed torrent a couple of months ago and watched it. Definitely was a pretty movie. I really like Tifa in the chapel fight scene. But the storyline was a little gay. Sephiroth again? Yawn.
