This Sunday will mark a month since my ex-fiance cheated on me. During that time I've done my best to hold my head high and stay strong. I do my best to keep busy with a slury of activites, school, work, friends, my XD. But Friday nights are a different story. There's no school work to be done, all my friends are out with their dates or boozing it up trying to get laid (something that I am not really into), there's no work until the morning, and the local range closes at 5:30

. I have nothing but my thoughts all night. Anytime I'm left to myself I find myself endlessly thinking of her. Usually its feelings of anger, sometimes remorse, sometimes jealously, sometimes just pure pain.

Anyways, sorry to put up such a downer post. Sometimes you really have to express your feelings and its hard when there's no one around. Its great knowing I can count on my XD buddies!

Go out and see a movie. Aeon Flux was great, lots of Steyrs in the movie too.

I know the feeling. It's been several weeks since I broke up with my girlfriend of three years. It really sucks to find myself at home thinking about her.

Hey, I know where you're coming from, to some extent at least. 13 years ago this week my first (late) wife was diagnosed with the cancer that killed her. Christmas has been kind of a bummer since then, which spoils it some for my second wife.

I spent a lot of time sitting around feeling sorry for myself, drinking and such, and then I found a picture of my old high school sweetheart and I holding hands, and decided to give her a call. We have been married a little over 12 years now.

Strange how things work out.

I don't have a whole lot of advice to offer as I did alot of the same things you're doing now.

Read a book, a lot of them. Get a motorcycle, build a motorcycle. Thats what I do. My wife works every night, every day. My boys play video games or all the neighborhood kids get together at someones house for a sleep over. I hang out in my garage tinkering on my bike. find an old british bike, they turn ordinary men in to mechanics...

Yeah, my man! All this extra free time could be spent blasting stuff. If you have broad band and you don't want to spend any money there's a fantastic free WW2 first person shooter game that you can get called Wolfenstein:Enemy Territory. Download it and get all the updates and play.

Into computers? Have a beafy system that will handle online gaming? Pick up a game and start playing....hours of fun.

Or like others have said, build something...anything. Bike, car, r/c kit....anything.

Or...spend the night browsing this forum...
