Yeah, I wouldn't expect the XDTalk community to be occupied with the subject when an entire line of pistols gets recalled. Really silly of people around here to be discussing it. Also, thanks for swooping in and saving us from a minor grammatical error.

(Seriously. Unclench, breathe, and be at peace with the fact that people have questions about this highly relevant and wide-reaching topic. If you don't want to read another thread about the recall, exercise some trigger finger control and don't click.)

I personally like the threads that speculate on how many weapons will be sent in hot, and how many will be returned to the wrong person. And then there is how many will have something else wrong when they get the weapon back that they did not have before. Don't forget how many will not shoot near as well as they used to, or how many will shoot much better now. But my all time favorites are how many can be done in a day, and how many years it will take to get them all done. Yep, inquiring minds want to know.

A thread's not complete until someone asks a question that only Nostradamus, or someone with a 'Magic 8 Ball' can answer.
Hang on... I'm asking the 8 Ball... [shake shake shake]
Hmm Okay! "Will the new disconnecter negatively effect trigger pull?"
Answer: "Ask again at a later date"
There ya have it... Don't get more official than that!

I wonder about the roll pin

Can we find out if the roll pin is functional or just to identify the fix? I was thinking about the extended grip safety just because I like them. I'm not so sure I want to order one now. Anyone out there send back one with the extended grip safety on it?

PRP will have an updated model available. Check with them to see when. I'd hold off on the new safety for a bit.

Go pop the top on a cool one and chill out. Ignore the little things that irritate you and you'll live longer. It takes less energy too.

well what else is there to talk about since no one is shooting their XDS and they are sitting in a pile at SA? It is a major issue and will be mentioned in most post fro quite awhile and will only grow as SA struggles
