I haven't read any new posts since Friday afternoon so I'm not sure if anyone else has received and posted the same response I got from my e-mail inquiry to SA the same day I sent my gun in so here it is:

Just checked the Springfield recall website and it says:


Your Recall Status: Call Tag has been Sent

I wonder what that means??? They received my gun on Tuesday 9/3 @ 9:58 am.

mine says same. I bet call tag refers to the RMA that was sent to us by email. If so, then no real news.

They haven't started the repairs yet (and perhaps won't start until the 20th).

Same...mine was sent the first day of the recall and says that my gun was recieved by springfield! Let the waiting begin!!! Can't wait to get it back since its my work carry
