Red or green front sight

I just got my new XDS .45 and ask the lgs to go ahead and change my front sight to green. What do you think is the best. Red to me just seems that it just wouldn't be bright in a night situation.

I like the green better. It seems alittle brighter to me.

i took the two spares optic tubes out held them tight side by side in my fingers held them up to the light and looked at them then slowly moved them out of the light to a darker corner and observe which one stayed most visible. i was all set to change to the green till i did this test but for me the red stayed more visible.... so i left it red... YMMV

Depends on where you are shooting. I prefer red just because I shoot clays a lot and have red fiber optic on them.

Purely a matter of personal choice and preference. What looks and works best for one persons eyes, is not necessarily best for another persons eyes. Use which ever works best for you.

changed both of ours to green.. bright sunlight doesnt seem much different between red or green to me anyway but in low light dusk ect the green really glows brighter well in my opinion anyway
