New XDS 45 shooting low and left

Just picked up my xds the other day. Went and shot 50 rds 230grain fmj. was noticing a big grouping low and left. Is this a grip problem or could sights be off center right out of the box. Thx for the help

I can only speak for myself ... But it's clear that I jerk the trigger of my XD-S, and I'm working on fixing that. I've never owned a pistol with this trigger system before; so for me, there is a learning curve involved. I love the gun; works flawlessly ... Especially when the trigger man does his part....

It's not the gun it's the shooter.

I have been shooting 45ACP's for 40 years but when I purchased a XDs last summer it always hit low, no matter what I did.

I live a fairly short distance from SA so I drove down there with it and they could not get it to hit anything but low either.

They replaced it.

I had the same problem...My local range watched me and then handed me a practice pistol with a laser to see if I was trigger pulling which i was not doing. Then he fired it and noticed the rear sight was off. he set the rear sight and then it was dead on!
