The Three Speed is too thick and bulky. I like the smart carry much better. Thunderware is more prone to snagging on the draw.
Smart Carry for deep concealment, Remora for everything else.

So what I'm hearing to cover just about all the carry bases is smart carry, belly band, ankle holster, and pj

The MTAC from Comp-Tac is spectacular,
Light, conceals under casual wear (tuckable), and completely adjustable.
IMHO, I like it much better than the crossbreeds.

By "thick and bulky" I take it you mean it covers the gun so that the grip isnt in contact with your skin - I'd agree...the gun does not come in contact with my skin using the 3 speed holster.
I'd prefer to have a holster made for my gun and waist size instead of a one-size fits all and "safety pins" to configure for different pistols.
to each his own.

Then you are in luck; as I said in my post,

If you're not comfortable with safety pins, the Smart Carry is offered in several sizes.

How does the price of the smart carry compare to the 3 speed?
