Range Report - XDS Video

Got out to the range yesterday and put another 200 rounds of Freedom Munitions through the XDS. Performance was flawless as it has been since the ejector was tuned.

I shot some VERY LOUD video with my phone. Adjust your volume accordingly.

I also shot 50 rounds with the XDM 45 4.5".

This was the first time out with Pro Ears Pro-Tac Gold hearing protectors. The volume in the left seems lower than the right and they're bulky, but they did a good job otherwise. I'm a sweat-hog, we'll see if the electronics last longer than the Peltors did. I pulled the batteries when I got home so they wouldn't corrode.

Nice job on that target. With the volume left up I felt like I was actually there.

Maybe the angle of the vid, but is your thumb resting on the slide release? Just curious... Cool vid!

Good eye, thumb is indeed on the release but it's not pressing down. The slide always locks back after the last round.
