Loaded Chamber Indicator gave up the ghost
At the range today I fired 100 rounds. The pistol had a failure to feed on the 2nd round of a magazine. this is the first failure of any type I've had with this pistol up to now. I cleared the jam and finished the magazine off. At this point I saw that the loaded chamber indicator was gone, I found in behind me in 2 pieces with the spring.
I was shooting Federal Champion 230 grain rounds today. Currently at 500 rounds through the XDS.
The pistol works fine without it. I am about to contact Springfield and ask if they will send me a loaded chamber indicator without having to send the XDS to them.

thanks, first I've heard of it too. I've heard of it happening with the xd/xdm before but I think what I had read was a spring issue, not the indicator breaking, then again the indicator in the xd/xdm isn't as large, can say for sure....... who knows!
