re shaping xds magazine holder

Ok so here's the story, I really like the magazine holder that the xds comes with and I was planning on using it whenever I decided to oc my xds, however I was planning on going to the range yesterday and was going to use the mag holder to hold my extras for quicker reload, as I was getting everything ready I noticed my mags wouldn't fit in the holder, at least not without forcing them in and then it was almost impossible to take out the mag, so I opened it as much as I could with the screw but no luck its like it didn't make a difference

So after, I decided to try to heat it up to loosen it out, so I put it in a car at the shop that was out in the sun and I left it in there for a while, after I went to see if my mags would go in, well it worked on one side, if youre looking at the screw its the left one, on the left one it goes in and out with ease but on the right side no difference still have to force in and out

That's when I decided to call Springfield, the lady told me to try what I already tried which is, heating it up to loosen it, I explained to her I did this and it only helped one side, she then told me I must be doing it wrong and that I should take it to a professional to do it, that's when I got a little angry and told her, no what's wrong is you wanting me to pay to have something fixed that shouldn't be broken in the first place, then I talked to a supervisor and he agreed to send me a new one, which I wasn't to comfortable with because he didn't give me a confirmation email but gave me a invoice number and told me it should be here in 7 business days, so im a little skeptical on if i'm going to actually get it or not

So heres the question after all the ranting, is there better way to remold it, I was thinking about tightening it all the way then putting it in the oven and heating it to x amount of temperature and leaving it in there for x amount of time, then taking it out and putting the magazines inside and letting it cool at room temp hoping it forms around the mags

Any advise at all, like how hot or how long or any other theories of how to fix it

Thank you

It's molded poorly. I don't use mine. I might try my butane torch with an empty mag in the tight side. It's a throwaway, in my book.

+1.
My right side of the holder is perfect. The left is off from molding. The two halves do not line up on the left. Junk! I don't use the freebies anyway. Wish it came in the essentials package. Then, put that $50 towards ammo.
I do understand though. You paid for it. It should work.
