I don't really like how he says the FTF's are from "weak feeding". He makes it sound like its the gun when in fact we know the light strikes are a battery issue due to either lube or limp wrist.
The slide lock is still the only real common issue I've seen.

The XDS is like a Porsche 911. It has a motor and four wheels, but requires a bit more discipline than a VW Jetta.

From the review: "...off-center strikes due to weak feeding of longer FMJ rounds."
Of course it completely skipped the reviewer's mind to actually name in the text of his article, the brand of ammo that wasn't reliably feeding. More than likely it was Sellior and Bellot ammo.

Cool article , a little info I hadn't heard ... ? Was there word from SA the fist "batch" had out of spec parts ?
And I too may paint cricket on my slide lol ...
And for some reason I still want that dang 36 ... I've been thinking for 3 days now lol I think if it's comparable in size to the 19 -- then he 36 with a ghost rocket might be a very fun range beater.

I don't know but my pistol is 501 and has no issues.
Why get the G36 when you have the XDS? Not following that especially to use it for a 'range beater'.

Probably because the info means little. If you've been shooting for a long time you have seen out of spec from every manufacture.
