Slide knocked out of battery
Let me say first off that I have 600 rounds through my XDs with no issues, no light strikes or feed problems.
I nudged the front of the slide near the muzzle toward the rear and the slide stuck back about a 1/4". It was out of battery at that point. Keep in mind that I had a round chambered with full mag.
A better example is try do a chamber check and see if it returns to battery. Mine doesn't. It shoots fine and returns to battery then but I think if you have it in a open muzzle holster and sit in a chair and bump the muzzle it might not return to battery upon drawing your weapon.
Can someone try to see if yours does this.

Mine does the same thing Serial # 503xxx. full mag both 7 rd and 5 rd and a round in chamber. as far as a chamber check i will try it at the range this weekend. I have 400+ flawless rds thru mine, i will play with this more at the range this weekend to see if when it is back a 1/4 in. it makes a difference when firing the gun.

I keep mine in a Crossbreed Minituck so the muzzle is covered and protected even though it is open. I'll have to check and see if mine behaves the same when I get home from work!

Mine does the same crap, so I sent it back to SA. Let them deal with it. It is totally unacceptable and unreliable simply because of this.

Mine pushes back a 1/4" and returns under it's own power.
500 + rounds.

For those that say their slide returns under it's own power, are you performing this test with or without a round in the chamber?

On mine the grip safety prevents the slide from moving while holstered. Can you guys rack the slide without depressing the grip safety?
