I went to 6 gun shops the other day just checking around to see if I could find one. Just happened to go into a shop that had a Springfield rep there that had one. I got to hold it with the regular and the 7 round extended magazine in it. Felt pretty good. Also got like $50 of free swag from Springfield Anyway, the shop was out (of course). There was 5 other people in 10 or 15 minutes that wanted them too. They had their's listed at $662 for black and $679 for Bi-tone. So Id say that is a great price. If you get it and dont like it you can always turn around and trade it for a Shield.

I too own an XDS and a 9mm shield...I won't part with either...Both awesome guns for me so far..

Is this a serious post ? lol if it is -- then yeah , that was a heck of a deal. I could have taken an airplane round trip got it and still have $$$ from the 647.00 I paid lol.
