Which remora
Which remora holster size would best fit the xds. I picked one up and will be edc ing it. I figured the 4 since it most closely matches the size of the shield. However the response I received from them was the 6ART which is described as being for a g26 which coincidentally is what I'm replacing. Can't wrap my head around which size to purchase. Any help from someone using one would be great.

Yep just saw that. Wondering if the 12b for 3 1/2 inch barrels may be even better

That might be better unless the trigger guard is the same and it is only deeper at the slide portion because that wouldn't allow the gun to go in any further. If you don't like the slide sticking out you could look at the 12 with the sweat shield. Don't know if that would be too big though.

I have a 12 and it fits a bit snug, so I picked up a 6art. Fits just fine.

FWIW, I carry a M43 Firestar in a Remora 6ART with sweat shield (per Remora's chart). I compared the M43 to the full-sized pictures of the XDs in the NRA magazines. It matches almost perfectly.

By most reports elsewhere on the 'net, Remora is a good company; if you're not happy, contact them and they'll make it right. No connection to the company, just a happy customer.

I just got my 6ART Remora. Haven't had a chance to carry it but it fits the gun perfectly.
