You have to remove the Extractor, to remove the extractor you have to remove the pin from the bottom side, the bottom id smaller than the top. Do not tap the pin from the top you will really mess up the pin.

Pulling the trigger to make your gun go bang can be quite troublesome.

Do you have wear/damage on the striker safety to match the wear on the striker pin? If so, it would be nice to see some pictures.

Yes.

My husband put 100 rounds through it yesterday and had one FTF and a light strike. I only got to shoot it twice because I have a very bad tennis elbow injury to my right arm which is also my primary arm. So I had to settle for trying the gun one handed with my left hand.

Very nice gun. Very accurate. Kicks like a mule but a fantastic pocket gun.

I will see about some pictures for you.

Shoot it some more to get it broken in, and the issues should go away. Don't loose the Green Poly Spring Buffer. To put it back together put the pin this time though the top of the slide. Look at your roll pin and find the end thats tapered first.

Thanks ajamesp51, It went back together just fine. We had the same damage to the striker that has been posted many times. Wanted to inspect the safety. Was a little suprised not a lot of talk about people looking at the safety but Sure enough, there was quite a bit of galling/ peening on the very edge of the safety corisponding to the damage on the striker.
He removed the high (peened) metal and polished both parts. Off to the range tomorrow, will re-inspect after another 100 rounds.
